An outdoor swimming pool is exposed to the temperature variations of the surrounding environment. The presence or absence of natural solar heating determines the warmth and comfort of the pool. However, whatever the geographic location of a pool, it is not possible to fully enjoy it. A few degrees of warmth are all that’s missing before and after the main summer season in order to profit from the comfort of water at 28°C. The only solution: a heating system that will offer comfort at a cost that is lower than you may think.
When heating a swimming pool it is important to retain as much heat as possible, i.e. to reduce evaporation to a minimum. A heat-insulating cover is therefore indispensable. Indeed, this cover cuts the power required for heating the pool and the associated costs dramatically. Before choosing the equipment, however, the needs have to be identified; do you need fast heating to use the pool immediately for the week-end in a secondary residence, or do you accept a slower temperature increase if your pool is in your main residence ? We offer everything from Solardeck solar tubing to PSA heat pumps (shown above), heat exchangers and boilers. Generally, cheaper installations are more expensive to run , and vice-versa.
