The whole process went very smoothly, and and we received lots of help and guidance from them before, during and after the pool was finished. The construction of the pool is excellent, and they also installed a very solid and secure fence around the pool terrace, conforming to the new French law. The pool, pump and filter system are very easy to maintain, and are economical to run. Perhaps best of all, in the two years since we purchased the pool, Piscine-Plus have always been happy to answer questions and provide advice when I have needed it. The after-sales service has been superb, something which is extremely valuable when investing in something as important as a swimming pool. We are very pleased with everything so far and Michel has been working very hard, despite the freezing conditions ..." Product: Bio Anti-Algue 1st December 2006 - "Three years ago I was asked to take part in a trial of a new totally biological product for stopping algae in my swimming pool. I was told that this product was made from a mixture of freeze dried bacteria occurring naturally around us and used in the food industry. It worked in two ways, firstly by removing the natural food source that algae needs and secondly by actually destroying the algae. Even though I regularly check my pool I had on several occasions suffered from “green pool syndrome” and was keen to try something that stopped yet more chemicals having to be added to the water I wanted to swim in. The product was supplied in a box containing twelve sachets which were to last the season using one sachet every two weeks. It is a preventative treatment not a curative treatment. Obviously it is still essential to regularly check ph, chlorine levels and clean the pool. Since using this product I have never had needed to either shock my pool nor use any anti algae product. Occasionally I have found the odd trace of green on the side of the pool where water circulation is not good but once cleaned off there is no further problem. The water has been crystal clear and many of our friends have commented on the clarity and quality of the water as well as the lack of the smell and effects of chlorine. This latter observation has been due to one side benefit I found which was that I have used far less chlorine than before as levels of chlorine can be kept to the minimum. I am currently taking part in trailing this product as an overwintering treatment. For this I was required to check and maintain ph and chlorine levels until the water temperature fell below ten degrees when the pump is turned off. After that I just cleared any debris once per month and when the water temperature reached ten degrees I adjusted chlorine and ph prior to adding two sachets of the product followed by the normal one sachet every two weeks. I have found this to work and have started the last two seasons with a clean algae free pool. Overall I have been very satisfied and pleased with this product and will continue to use it."
